Tread Wisely Challenge
Schools and organizations across the country participated in our Tread Wisely Challenge in 2017, educating hundreds of young drivers about tire and vehicle safety.
The challenge encouraged teens and young adults to learn how to conduct three basic monthly tire safety checks – tire pressure, tread depth and overall tire condition – and share this information with their peers. Participating schools, clubs, groups and organizations competed against one another for the chance to win prizes including one of 50 cash prizes of $500.
Here are a few photos from challenge events:
In the month of November, a special $250 cash bonus incentive was offered to the first five schools or clubs across the nation to complete the challenge and submit the accompanying paperwork in November 2017. Winners include:
- Buford High School FFA (Lancaster, S.C.)
- Hawley High School FFA (Hawley, Minn.)
- Livingston Central High School FBLA (Smithland, Ky.)
- Lost River High School FFA (Merrill, Ore.)
